123D MAKE

Import the file into 123D make, simple sofeware to slice your model for laser cut. There are 4 methods for you to choose, which are stacked slices, curved slices, radial slices and interlocked slices. In this case, you can change the strength and weakness of the model. Then start choose my method.

Stacked slices

Stacked slices create the solid shape for the shuttle, however it is good way to assemble, but I can not see too much detail from the shape.

Curved slices

Curved slices has lots of errors,could not explore into laser cut.

Interlicked slices

Interlocked slices is a better choice to show the vertical and horizontal line cross the shuttle.

Radial slices

Radial slices show the crossing line through the middle line, layout the shuttle is symmetry and show the scale change from top to bottom. More important, you can see the curve line along the side and capture the feature of the shuttle. It is helpful for me to manipulate the metal sheet model later on.
